Position Summary:
CERT PHLEBOTOMY TCHN 1

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:

• Current CA State Certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician
• High school graduate or equivalent, or above.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year or above practical experience as laboratory assistant or completion of phlebotomy program.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to type or otherwise demonstrate proficiency with computer keyboard.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work effectively in a clinical laboratory with various electronic and mechanical testing instruments as well as a variety of 'manual' testing kits which may often employ chemicals and compounds which can be harmful or hazardous if handled inappropriately.
